WHO WE ARE
We’re Jake and Emma – a married couple from Bristol who love capturing life’s moments together.
What started as a shared hobby with a camera quickly grew into a major step of trust for us. We named our business Mustard Seed Studios as a direct nod to our Christian faith, inspired by the truth that something incredibly small can grow into something grand, beautiful, and flourishing. It was a literal leap of faith for us—starting with a tiny dream, putting our trust in God, and watching it grow.
The true heart of it all clicked after our own wedding. Experiencing the sheer joy and lasting value of receiving our own photos and film made us realise just how vital amazing visual storytelling is. We were instantly inspired to pour our professional background and passion into bringing that exact same feeling to other couples.
Emma is the main photographer and videographer, with a real passion for telling stories through natural, timeless images and film. She’s usually the one behind the camera, making sure every detail and emotion is beautifully captured.
Jake supports as a second shooter, adding an extra angle and perspective to your day. He also assists with editing and looks after our social media, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Because we're married, we operate with a natural shorthand on your day, keeping things relaxed, fun, and completely in sync.
Because we know how important these memories are, we treat every wedding as if it were our own. We also know firsthand that planning a wedding is a massive investment and costs can quickly add up. We approach our business with a heart of service, which means we never want finances to stand in the way of you getting incredible memories—we are always happy to be flexible and work closely with you to tailor a package that beautifully suits your budget.

We are based in Bristol , but we always love to explore new places and see different weddings!
Travel Costs may apply depending on location, but we’ll always be upfront so there are no surprises

Absolutely. On the pricing section of our webpage, you can see you our different photo and video packages. We do also offer combined packages, where you’d get 1 photographer and 1 videographer, there’s are offered at a slight discount!

For photos, we’ll send you a little teaser album within a week so you don’t have to wait too long to relive the magic. Your full gallery will be ready in 4–6 weeks, depending on your package.
Videos take a little longer to perfect — you can expect your finished film within around 8 weeks. We’ll keep you updated throughout so you always know when to expect

Yes, we do. A deposit is needed to officially secure your booking. We’ll also send over a contract for you to sign. The remaining balance will then be due 2 weeks before your wedding.

Absolutely! We love meeting couples before the big day. Whether it’s over a coffee in Bristol or a Zoom call if you’re further away, it’s a great chance for us to get to know each other and chat through your plans.
